Support
Something not working, or a question the FAQ doesn't answer? Email us and a person will read it.
Or write to info@insidepics.com directly. We aim to reply within two business days.
What to include
You will get a faster answer if your first message includes:
- Your device and OS version (for example, iPhone 15, iOS 18.4).
- The InsidePics app version, from the Settings tab.
- What you expected to happen, and what happened instead.
- The steps that reproduce it, and a screenshot if the problem is visible on screen.
Please do not send passwords or recovery codes. We will never ask you for them.
Common questions
I signed in on a new device and my library looks empty
Your library is encrypted, so a new device needs your key before it can decrypt anything. Complete the recovery step during sign-in using your recovery information. If it still looks empty afterwards, email us.
I lost my password and recovery information
We cannot decrypt your content on your behalf — that is the point of the design, and it is the one trade-off end-to-end encryption asks for. Without your credentials or recovery information, an encrypted library cannot be restored. We can still help you regain access to the account itself.
Someone I shared with can't open a photo
Sharing works by encrypting to the recipient's key, so they need to be signed in on a device that holds it. Ask them to confirm they are signed in, then try the share again. If it persists, send us both account emails and the approximate time.
I want to delete my account
You can delete your account from the Settings tab in the app. This removes your account information and your encrypted content. If you cannot reach that screen, email us and we will handle it.
I want to report abuse or a security issue
Email info@insidepics.com with the details. For security reports, please describe the issue and how to reproduce it, and give us a reasonable opportunity to fix it before disclosing publicly.
